Head Coach Barry Trotz and newly promoted Associate Coach Todd Reirden met with the media Tuesday morning at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.
Among the questions fielded by Trotz were a couple surrounding the mystery of Dmitry Orlov. Regarding contract negotiations:
Trotz says #Capitals and Orlov are still talking. Trotz reiterated that he sees Orlov taking on a bigger role. “Orly has a great opp here.”

Coach Trotz also noted that he is intending to move Dmitry Orlov up from the bottom pair, and will likely be paired with Matt Niskanen or John Carlson.
