After returning to his native Russia at the conclusion of the Capitals’ season, rising superstar Evgeny Kuznetsov has been a busy man. From participating in the IIHF World Championships, to spending time with family and running his hockey camp for youth in his hometown of Chelyabinsk, Kuznetsov has had plenty to do. Today, he kicked off a children’s event in his hometown.
Kuznetsov led the kids through some off-ice drills and then took them out to the ice to instruct them. It was certainly a moment these kids won’t forget.
