Whole Latta Love (Video)

Passionate Capitals fans experience sadness in a few different ways. There are the raw emotions that come along with being eliminated from the playoffs; we’ve just experienced that – again. And then there are those deep heart-felt emotions we also experience when we have to say goodbye to members of the Capitals family. Saying farewell to Michael Latta is one of those times. NoVa Caps reader Emma Von Hoene (@Emmav6522) submitted the following video mix in tribute to one of her (and our) favorite players, Michael Latta. Emma created the video as a means to say “thanks” to Latts for all of his hard work during his time in Washington. Emma, we enjoyed and were so moved by your video that we wanted to share it with the entire NoVa Caps community. Job well done, Emma!

And a bonus!, “The Many Adventures of Willy, Latts and Their Son, Burkie”.

Michael Latta will be missed by NoVa Caps and the entire the Washington Capitals community. We know that we’ll be seeing him again albeit in a competitor’s sweater and we wish him all the best both personally and professionally!
