Washington Capitals prospect and current Hershey Bear Madison Bowey will not face further discipline after he was investigated for using a homophobic slur in Game 4 of the Calder Cup Eastern Conference Finals on Friday.
Bowey’s conduct was under review by the AHL for his initial hit on the Toronyo Marlies Kasperi Kaspanen, and for possibly using a homophobic slur following the play. The hit:

Bowey was cleared late Saturday.
