Alex Ovechkin spent his first Saturday off since last summer playing in a charity basketball game in Moscow, Russia.
Ovi certainly received the greatest round of applause during pre-game warm-ups. (Ovi donning the traditional #8 with green shoes).

It turns out Ovi is just as much a free shooter in basketball as he is on the ice. This shot rang “off the pipes”.
