Evgeni Malkin Blow To Winnik’s Head – No Call

Capture

Pens forward Evgeni Malkin took a cheap shot to Daniel Winnik’s head, with no call made by the officials. The question, will the NHL turn their heads as well?

Not only was Malkin’s hit to Winnik’s head, but Malkin also elevated for the hit, something the NHL has said they are trying to eliminate, and also warrants a suspension.

Winnik would leave the game, but return to the Caps bench prior to the end of the second period, but did not return to the ice.

NBC intermission commentary stated that the hit was clean and the elevation by Malkin came after the hit.

You seriously have to stop. He clearly does not leave his feet until after contact is made, which is completely legal. His doesn’t lift his elbow or change his trajectory before the hit. You know who does change their trajectory before the hit? Winnik does. It’s a clean, but unfortunate hit.

Also, nice job banning me from your shitty facebook page. What the hell is wrong with caps fans that we can’t be corrected. We’re stuck in this perpetual victim complex bullshit against the pens. Maybe we aren’t getting the breaks because the team is playing like shit. But, instead of just admitting that, we blame the NHL and the officias. What a fucking joke.

Maybe the reason you were banned had something to do with how talk in your comment above. No one wants someone who uses vulgarity to be commenting on their page.
