Flyers Bellemare Suspended One Game For Orlov Hit

The NHL Department of Player Safety has determined that Flyers Pierre-Edouard Bellemare will be suspended one game, and it wasn’t unexpected…to most. 

Bellemare was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for hitting Orlov from behind, sending him head-first into the boards while chasing the puck in the corner.

Earlier, the NHL Department of Player Safety officially announced a hearing would be held today.
