Orpik Leaves Game After Hit by Flyers Ryan White

Brooks Orpik sustained a hit by the Flyers Ryan White towards the end of the second period, that sent Orpik wobbling off the ice and to the locker room. He would not return to the game.

Orpik would appear to be dazed by the hit, although the replay showed that there didn’t seem to be head-to-glass contact. Orpik was helped from the ice by John Carlson and Caps head trainer Greg Smith.
