Barry Trotz confirmed that Philipp Grubauer would get the start tonight against the Anaheim Ducks. Earlier in the week Trotz stated that Philipp Grubauer would get one of the two starts in this weekends back-to-back set against the Blues and the Ducks.
Trotz said Zach Sill is an emergency recall because “some guys got banged up last night.” Added that people who haven’t played will tonight.

After last night’s win in St. Louis, and with Holtby needing just one win the set the record for most wins by a goalie in a season, Trotz was asked if Holtby might get the start in tonight’s game. “Has not even crossed my mind yet,” Trotz said. “We’ll see.”
Earlier in the week, Trotz made it clear the Holtby and Grubauer would split the starts for the last two games.
