Vanecek named ECHL Goaltender of the Month.

Photo: @SCStingrays Washington Capitals prospect Vitek Vanecek continues to shine in the franchise’s development process. The team’s ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays, announced on their website that Vanecek was named the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month.

The Capitals were back at practice at Kettler this morning (Monday), after returning from their three-game road trip yesterday. The Capitals will host the New York Islanders Tuesday night at Verizon Center. Puck-drop is 7:00 PM.
