The NoVa Caps Podcast team is pleased to share their most recent recording. In this episode, recorded on Thursday, March 29th, Gabe, George and Scott welcome the newest NoVa Caps cast member, Craig Luecke!
Craig has been a Washington sports fan his entire life from the days of the Redskins and Senators at RFK to the Caps / Bullets at the Capital Centre. Some of you may remember Craig as ‘Backdraft’ his on-air nickname while working for the Sports Junkies in their early days. In addition, Craig also worked with the Don and Mike Show, G Gordon Liddy, and various other programs while at WJFK / CBS Radio.
Craig considers himself a ‘mainstream’ Caps fan who is always there year after year no matter what. Craig recently retired as a Firefighter Paramedic with the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department as well as the International Urban Search & Rescue Team. Craig’s last major project was the World Police & Fire Games. This event brought 10,000 athletes from 70 countries to the National Capital Region including 90 hockey teams.
We are very excited about having Craig join our cast!
