Alex Ovechkin and His Parents Make Donation to Orphanage in Russia

Today the parents of Alexander Ovechkin, together with the Charity Fund “Source” made a donation to the Saltykovskaya orphanage “Fidget” in Balashikha, Russia.

The orphanage was presented with sports shoes, jackets, balls, an Alex Ovechkin Jersey and other donations. Thanks to the Great 8 and his parents.

Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrey Vorobiew, made a statement of thanks to Alex and his parents:  “Thanks to Alexander and his parents – Tatiana Nikolaevna and Mikhail for the good that they give children. We are (now) waiting for the son with the Stanley Cup”.  We couldn’t agree more, Andrey. Well done Alex and Mr. and Mrs. Ovechkin!
