Hundreds of Caps fans rolled up their sleeves for the Inova and Capitals Blood Donor Drive on Saturday November 14th. This is one of the most popular community events hosted by the Caps at Kettler, occurring about every two months. Not only do fans have the opportunity to do something great for our community but they walk away with a Caps player bobblehead and donor shirt. This weekend we were treated to an Evgeny Kuznetsov bobble head and for a few lucky fans, a visit from Kuzy himself.

nova-caps-blood-driveInova has partnered with the Caps since 2008 with donors showing up time and again to give the gift of life to others. Donors must by 16 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. During the drive donors have the option to donate whole blood or platelets.

Volunteers can donate every 56 days and if you would like the chance to give, sign up at inovabloodsaves.org for the next two opportunities on January 9th, 2016 and March 5th 2016. It’s a great way to meet other Caps fans and add to your bobblehead collection!
