Ovechkin Wins “Kharlamov Trophy” for Best Russian Player in the NHL

Washington Capitals Captain Alex Ovechkin was presneted with the “Kharlamov Trophy“, in an awards ceremony held in Moscow today.  The annual award goes to the best Russian hockey player in the NHL.  Ovechkin has won the award seven times since its inception in 2003.
