2015-2016 Metropolitan Division Projections

All precincts have finally reported! NoVa Caps projections for the finishing order of the 2015-2016 race for the Metropolitan Division are complete. Earlier this month we asked each of the contributors to assess the Metropolitan division and generate their own picks for the finishing order of the division.

A closer look at the individual picks (above) shows plenty of support (or votes from the heart) for the Washington Capitals. A statistical breakdown and averaging of the participant’s picks was also applied to the individual pics, and an overall ranking of the division was generated (detailed in the table to the left). As a result, most of the contributors also anticipate a corresponding drop in the Rangers and Islanders this season. Sorry New York. Who ya got?
