Capitals Hold Focus Group Meetings for In-Game Entertainment

The Washington Capitals held the second of two focus groups for in-game entertainment (music) this week.  NoVa Caps Robert Kruck was invited for the group meeting that was held on Tuesday.  He reports…..

Pretty excited when I got the email that I was going to be part of the Washington Capitals focus group held at the Verizon Center on Tuesday July 21st.  Anyone who knows me knows how much of a Capitals fan I am, and to be able to give my opinion to a forum where it can make a difference is a big deal to me.

I had to sign an Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) so I can not post much about the actual experience.  I can say that the Washington Capitals organization seems to care about the overall experience for Capitals Hockey.  Lots of great suggestions came out of the focus group, but like every situation where you have such a wide variety of demographics, you won’t please everyone.

Overall it was a great experience, that lasted about 90 minutes.  The only drawback to the night was that it was the night of the Shania Twain concert, and dealing with the sound check and groupies.
