Well, the Capitals announced their new Alternate Jersey today, and for many, they were a welcomed sight. The old “3rds” were a nice throwback, with some success (2011 Winter Classic), but it was time to put them in the closet for a while. For those tiring of “Throwbacks”, NoVa Caps thought we’d take a look at some new ideas that were created by fans. Not too shabby if you ask me.  For those growing weary of red, blue seems to be a popular alternative.
