Connor McMichael, the Washington Capitals first round draft pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, has been on a torrid scoring pace so far this season. On Friday he scored his second hat trick of the season, giving him 16 goals and 16 assists in just 13 games played so far this season.
McMichael scored the last three goals for the London Knights in their 7-6 overtime victory over the Erie Otters. His first goal would give the Knights a 5-4 lead near the end of the second period.

McMichael’s second goal came with about a minute remaining in regulation, tying the game at 6-6, and sending the game into overtime.

His third goal would come in overtime for the game winner.

McMichael would score his first hat trick of the season back on September 28th (More here.)
For the game, McMichael had three goals on five shots, and three assists for a 6-point game. He was first star of the game.
