Alex Ovechkin Moves Into 9th Place in Career Power Play Goals

With a power play goal in the third period of Monday nights game in Vancouver, Alex Ovechkin now has 233 career power play goals, passing former Capital Dino Ciccarelli for sole possession of 9th place all time.

Ovechkin is now just one power play goal from tying Marcel Dionne for 8th place all time, three power play goals from tying Mario Lemieux for 7th place all time and four power play goals from tying Brenden Shanahan for 6th place all time.
