Hershey Bears Win the Weekend & Lucas Johansen Scores First Goal (Photos)

HERSHEY, PA — On Pink the Rink night, the Bears defeated the Hartford Wolf Pack 4-3 to win their first weekend of the season. It’s nice to see things finally coming together and some of the Caps’ young prospects finding their way on the scoresheet like Lucas Johansen, who scored his first goal of the season Sunday night in Chocolatetown. I’m sure there’s many, many more where that comes from. Check out the full-game recap here.

Adam Carlson gets his second start in three nights.

Riley Barber’s mom, a breast cancer survivor, dropped the puck for Pink the Rink night.

Awww.

Wayne Simpson knocks one home.

Lucas Johansen gathers with his teammates after scoring his first AHL goal.

Way to go, Lucas!

The Captain takes on Ryan Graves.

I think he was feeling pretty good after that one.

Yep, he was.

OB scores!

Langlois skates the puck out of the zone to help the Bears hold their one goal lead.

High fives for Lucas.

Look at these two.

Round of applause for his first goal.

“Watch out guys. We’re coming in hot.”
