At 6:31 p.m. we got more of a clue on which Capitals player will get selected by Vegas. Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post broke the news. It is now highly likely, but not official, that Nate Schmidt was the pick.
Can confirm that Philipp Grubauer *was not* selected by the Vegas Golden Knights. Means it’s likely that D Nate Schmidt is the pick.
